Master's in Social Work Program | University of British Columbia Okanagan
Exploring life’s complexities and challenges can be difficult to navigate alone. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process, built on trust, and I hold myself accountable to bringing authenticity, curiosity, and empathy into each session. I aim to foster a space where you feel free to come as you are, without judgement. Together, we will work to identify and address your needs at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Seeking out counseling can feel daunting, so please feel free to book a free consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
I guide my practice through intersectional, trauma-informed, anti-colonial, anti-racist, disability justice, and harm reduction frameworks. I carefully consider how your unique identity interacts with the environments you navigate, as I believe that these interactions significantly influence our overall well-being.
I am a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia, holding a Psychology degree from Carleton University and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of British Columbia Okanagan. I socially locate myself as a white, cisgender man, offering services in Kelowna on the unceded, ancestral, and occupied lands of the Syilx Okanagan People.
