A Message From Michelle
Hi! My name is Michelle and I am incredibly proud of you for taking your first step in finding the support you deserve. I am a registered social worker (BA., MSW., RSW) and counsellor who recognizes that many of us have endured immense harm, neglect, discrimination, betrayal, and humiliation, without a safe place to express and process this suffering.
If you find yourself struggling with overwhelming feelings of shame and guilt, worry and fear, fatigue, anger and sadness, or helplessness, know that you are not alone. I believe healing happens when we are offered a safe, non-judgemental space to share our suffering and explore our hopes for the future. My aim is to collaboratively create that safe space for you. including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

I am passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, perfectionism, and relationship anxiety/relationship-OCD. I also specialize in supporting those who have experienced trauma, especially related to sexual abuse or religious/spiritual abuse. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions for children (12+), youth, and adults. Together, we can uncover what holds you back from living the life you want and develop strategies to achieve your goals.
Methods of Therapy
I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that prioritizes your unique strengths and goals as well as skills that help regulate the nervous system and ground you in the present moment. I also have training in emotion-focused individual therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy as well as integrate interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy and internal family systems.
